on the road
I haven't driven my car in a while. I'm trying to save gas and be green. But there is something I miss about being able to drive long distances on the road. Sometimes, if I have a problem, driving is just the second nature activity that allows your mind to be free and open. Yeah, as a So Cal person, I have a love affair with driving and the car-which made me think about Jack Kerouac and his novel On the Road. He went on the road to find himself, while now for most Americans, we are on the road and we find ourselves out of patience for the cost of gas and traffic. I hope we can find within ourselves, a new mode of thinking about the way we get around.
